Welcome!
Hello! And welcome to our new blog! My friend Brandy & I are so excited to start this new adventure together. We love creating beautiful and whimsical home decor and helping our crafty and 'not-so-crafty' friends do the same.
We're working on some really cool holiday decor right now... and will be showing you all soon. I hope you'll stay tuned!
When we first decided to start this new crafting venture, I had no idea that my husband of 7 years was going to ask for a divorce. We have 3 beautiful children, aged 5, 3, and 19 months. A couple days after our 'divorce' talk, I discovered that I was pregnant with baby #4.
This has turned my world upside down, even though I knew it was the right thing to do... With all the information that has come out since our little talk, it has been confirmed to me over and over again that our marriage is over. I fought valiantly to save my marriage. But, in the end, if there's only one fighting to save it, he or she will lose. It takes two people fighting to stay faithful, and to stay in love... to fight off all those natural tendencies to lose interest and find excitement with someone else. It takes *both* parties, truly invested in staying faithful to each other, the commandments and gospel of Jesus Christ to make a happy and successful marriage and family. If only one of them has the drive and commitment, they are destined to fail.
So, this blog will have a little bit of my life and what's going on in it (don't worry, I won't get too carried away with the drama), a lot of crafts and crafting tips, and maybe some other bits and pieces Brandy & I find along the way.
Pull up a chair, get cozy, and we can all enjoy this ride we call life together. We're glad you stopped by & hope you'll hang out with us for a while.
